In response to the pen pals thread I have created a basic classifieds section where users can post ads for pen pals and to sell items. I am also considering creating a Free For Shipping section. If you think the FFS section is a good idea let me know and I'll add it ASAP.
You can check out our classifieds here or, click on About, then Classifieds. I will be making some more prominent modules for the classifieds thoughout the site.

I've made some updates to the site, mostly backend type stuff that you won't notice too much.
The pagination issue within the community portion of the site has been resolved. You should be able to browse through all secondary pages without being re-directed to the home page.
If you run into any strange errors do not hesitate to let me know

Here's the deal. I tried out a new mailing list sender yesterday, using the same list I always do.
The list is comprised of people who have registered on xsisterhoodx.com as members. I don't buy e-mail address or add people randomly. I have your e-mail address, you gave it to me.
This is what i know. The e-mail went out to all 11k+ of you. About 100 people opended the e-mail. Of that 100 people about a dozen or so wanted to unsubscribe.
Now to the part I don't understand. I don't know if they hit the unsubscribe button or not, but the decided to respond to the e-mail, and for one reason or another their responses got forwarded to random list members.
I have since sent out another e-mail with the link to unsubscribe.

It's been a little while since I have been able to update this blog. The holidays are now over and things are settling back into a normal pace. I've gotten back into trying to promote the site as much as possible. I've also been trying to get more people to contribute to the zine portion of the site but it's not easy. Either people just don't respond to my bulletins, e-mails, pleas, etc, or if they do I never hear from them again. I just don't know what else to do.
I just completed a phone interview with a woman who plans to do a documentary on straightedge and produce it as a podcast. Her questions were fair and the tone of the interview was really positive. Hopefully I'll hear back from her soon about how production is going.
I noticed today that a member posted in her status that she was having problems with the site. Please, Please, Please, If you are having issues with the site let me know directly. I cannot fix things I don't know are broken!
