A High Turnout for a Stellar Lineup

There was a large turnout at The Doctor’s Inlet Civic Center in Orange Park, Florida last Thursday. The little suburb of Jacksonville brought kids from all around (even including Orlando) for the event. With a lineup of Casey Jones, Kids Like Us, Shot Point Blank, My Hostage, and North Twenty-Four, no one was hesitant to attend. Especially with the price at the door being only 5 dollars. This was a great way for Kids Like Us, Casey Jones, and Shot Point Blank to kick off their week-long winter tour.

Shot Point Blank Opens with Hardcore Energy

Shot Point Blank took the stage to kick off the show. This band of Aussie natives’ sound was compared by an onlooker to “the Hatebreed of Australia”. They surely know tough. Look for them in your town as they make their way around the U.S.

North Twenty-Four: Local Metalcore Sensations

North Twenty-Four took the stage next. This group of locals knows how to deliver metalcore breakdowns and they still can bring out screaming high school females. Check out the 5 hot boys of N24 on

My Hostage: Talent Unleashed

My Hostage was the next in the lineup.  With former members of Evergreen Terrace and Dorsia, these guys have the talent. You can check them out also on

Kids Like Us Rouses the Crowd

Next up was Kids Like Us (recently signed to Eulogy  Records). This band knows how to get the crowd pumped up. Kids went crazy for this old-school band who knows how to speak their minds. From songs about their friends, skating, and their thoughts on the scene, kids sang along to every lyric. Of course, they ended their set with their most popular song “Meet Me at the Swingset”. Everyone rushed to the stage to sing the catchy lyrics “Get the fuck out. Grow the fuck up.”  They concluded their set by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and tossing candy into the crowd.

Casey Jones: A High-Energy Finale

Finally, Casey Jones hit the stage. Still pumped from Kids Like Us, many people stuck around to watch this amazing locally established Straight Edge band. There were stage dives, pile-ons, and sing-alongs galore the whole set. Casey Jones, who also is a recently added band to the Eulogy family, rocked the place with their solid riffs and heavy breakdowns. Even kids who weren’t Edge sang along with support. Their set was a great way to end the night.
