No Idols “Low” is a short politically laced album. Spanning but 23 minutes, it is an abrasive mixture of discordant textures and ebbing rhythms. No Idols rely less on traditional hardcore mainstays and focus their energy and talents on creating a decidedly aggressive sound which is based more on rock than on punk and/or metal. One might attempt to place them into the category of “post hardcore” yet to this reviewer’s ear their sound still crosses into the hardcore/hardrock arena. RIYL: Cursed, 108, Unbroken
