Set to Explode is a band destined to succeed. Featuring an all-star lineup that includes ex-members of Worn Thin, Aftermath, 86 Mentality, The Goons, and ex-vocalist of Striking Distance, Dave Byrd, they can’t help but be awesome. Fast-paced guitar work, minimal production, and raw emotion are just a few of the highlights of this six-song nine-minute release on Grave Mistake Records. One of the best songs on this album is “Never Give in” which features some great sing-a-longs in old-school flare. This DC band is sure to make its mark on the current hardcore scene. They play from the heart and you can’t fake that.
