On November 13, Anklebiter announced via Instagram that they will be disbanding after one final show this weekend. In their statement, the band thanked everyone who’s ever moshed, supported, and stood by them over the past couple of years.
“After sending it off one last time this weekend, we’ll be disbanding to focus on other projects and life across the Northeast,” they wrote.
They gave shoutouts to Sunny Day Drive Records, Scowl, Restraining Order, Jivebomb, and many others who have been part of their time as a band. Signing off, they left fans with one final call: “Anklebiter is and will always be a straight edge band, you should start one too.”
