DIY Conspiracy Vol.X collects sixteen tracks of straight edge hardcore fury. Representing different parts of the world, from Russia and Ukraine to the United States, Mexico, Czechia, France, Hungary, Italy, Germany, and the UK.
The compilation tape also comes along with an 80-page straight edge zine featuring interviews with Gabriel Kuhn (author of straight edge books “Sober Living for the Revolution: Hardcore Punk, Straight Edge, and Radical Politics” and “X: Straight Edge and Radical Sobriety”), R.A.M.B.O., Eva “xGeniex” Hall of vegan straight edge bands Gather and Power Alone, Julie Hill of Austrian hardcore band DREGS, Kelly Brother-Leonard on the history of xSisterhoodx, zine publisher Evan Stein of Voice of Strength Fanzine, July Salazar of Peruvian all-female hardcore band ¡Tomar Control!, Jyoti Mishra of one-hit wonder White Town, and Portland’s antifascist vegan straight edge band xCauterizex. The zine comes in a bundle with the tape and there’s no option to buy only a tape or a zine separately.
